Obituary of LuElla Lehr

LuElla Louise Lehr, 96, of Tilden, IL passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Randolph County Care Center. She was born on November 19, 1921 in Lively Grove, the daughter of the late Phillip and Lena (Schuster) Hottes. LuElla and Edwin Lehr were united in marriage in 1939 in St. Genevieve, MO. Edwin preceded her in death on March 31, 1954. LuElla was a cook at local restaurants and the Tilden Grade School.

LuElla is survived by two daughters Helen Bernice Lindsey of Murphysboro, IL and Betty Lou Galena (Jerry) Goetz of Sparta, IL; one grandson Thomas Bradley (Autumn) Hancock of Murphysboro, IL; one granddaughter Deborah Kaye (Carl) Lewis of Sparta, IL; four great grandson’s Kenny Raymond (Amanda) Parnell, Robert Andrew (Lauren) Parnell, Aaron Michael Hancock and Nathan Bradley Hancock all of Murphysboro, IL; one great great grandson Gabriel Charles Parnell of Murphysboro, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

LuElla is preceded in death by her husband Edwin, parents Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hottes, one brother Edward Hottes, one great granddaughter Rebecca Jean Parnell and one son-in-law Robert Lindsey

Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at McDaniel & Lee Family Funeral Home in Tilden, IL 

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the Funeral Home

Interment will be at Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery in Biddleborn, IL

Memorials may be given to the Hayer Senior Center or to the Randolph County Care Center Activity Fund
